What a weekend!

I attended the 2009 Freedom Summit put on by Ernie Hancock and Freedom's Phoenix the past weekend, and am I glad I did.  The speaker list was outstanding, with a long list of luminaries including Ernie Hancock, Marc Victor, David Nolan, Butler Schaffer, Stewart Rhodes, Ernie, Judge John Buttrick, Tom Woods, Joel Skousen, Ernie, John Taylor Gatto, Ernie, Charles Goyette, Congressman RON PAUL, Ernie, John Stadtmiller, Michael Maresco, Boston T. Party, Adam Kokesh, Bud Burrell, and Ernie.  I might have forgotten someone - if I did, my sincere apologies!  The above list are the people I personally heard speak.

I'm in the process now of sorting out pictures (about 350) and uploading them - for right now thought here is the photo album of the 'SignWave' we had at lunchtime on Saturday with a friend of ours...

Keep watch on that site - the rest should be uploaded by later today (no promises!  My phone won't stop ringing - which is a good thing!).

Articles of Freedom update - I got the Admin reviewed version a few days ago and there were a few problems that I am in the process of working out, and I'm not the only one.  It will be a few more days before it gets finalized and goes out to the public.  If I have anything to say about the process it will take even longer, but I won't go into that now.  You can hear it on my latest YouTube Report from the Summit: www.youtube.com/watch  .

Working for you,

Ed

I was informed (unofficially) this morning that I should be receiving the Article of Freedom today for review.  I will be comparing the certified copies with the proofread version to insure there has been no changes of anything subsatntial - only corrections for spelling, puntuation, and arrangement for fluidity.  When that has been verified, I believe it will go out to all the delegates for final review, and hopefully, distribution.

I was reminded in an e-mail from the Chief-of-Staff Judith Whitmore (what a Grand Lady!) that it was several days before the results of the First Continental Congress was in the hands of the Colonists.  Granted, they didn't have the instant-communication devices we do today, but there is still a certain amount of 'cross checking' that has to be done on ANY output of a large Organization - if for no other reason than for the LEGAL DEPARTMENT to ok the final product.

We must be as careful as any large group of individuals - if not more considering the controversial nature of our undertakings.

I would have LOVED to come home with printed copies, but that just wasn't the case.  We finished with our 'first rough draft' after Midnight Sunday morning - well after the Closing Ceremonies were concluded on Saturday.

There's nothing 'secret' or 'nefarious' - it's a process that must be completed before the barn door gets opened, and everyone gazes at the August Stallion...
