REMINDER: End the Fed! Teleconference TONIGHT/ RTR Radio "End the Fed!" Show Yes, the regularly scheduled End the Fed national teleconference is ON tonight,Tuesday, December 16th. We are trying something new. There will be two phases to the conference. From 5 PM Pacific, 7 PM Central, 8 PM Eastern, Restore the Republic Radio will be hosting the "End the Fed!" Show with RJ, Ray Powell and Steven Vincent. You can listen live at http://www.RTRRadio.com. We will be discussing why we want to End the Fed and how this can be accomplished and the politics of the movement for Sound Money. From 6 PM Pacific, 8 PM Central, 9 PM Eastern we will have our working conference call in which we will discuss the nuts and bolts organizational business of achieving our goals. REPEAL THE FED CAMPAIGN. We are off to a great launch of the most vital, fastest growing transpartisan citizens movement for REAL CHANGE in America. We have launched a big drive to gather petition signatures for the bill before Congress to repeal the Federal Reserve Act. That will be the primary focus of our call tonight. We have spoken with Ron Paul's Congressional office and Monday, February 23rd will be our target date for a "Repeal the Federal Reserve Act" petition+phone call+fax+email bomb on Congress and a press conference in front of the Fed headquarters in D.C. We're setting a goal of collecting 1 million petition signatures by February 23rd. Sounds like an unachievable target. Is it? From December 7th, there's 78 days to 2/23. We have about 6,000 ETF registered activists. Let's have some fun with math. 1,000,000 is just 2,300 signatures per congressional district. 1,000,000 is just 2 signatures per day by each of our 6,000 activists. 1,000,000 is just 167 signatures total from each of our 6,000 activists. 1,000,000 is just 25,641 signatures from each of the 39 cities that have a Fed bank or office. 1,000,000 is just a rate of 328 signatures per day for each of the 39 Fed cities. The Repeal the Fed Campaign web page is: http://endthefed.us/repeal.php 2. AMERICAN CITIZENS SUMMIT. End the Fed has received an invitation to participate in the "American Citizen's Summit" ( http://www.transpartisan.net/ ). Campaign for Liberty is participating. I think it could be worthwhile for us to be there and to represent our point of view, make contacts and influence the course of discussion. Of course the hardcore establishment insiders will dismiss us. But others who are attendees may be very interested to hear what we have to say. It is basically free for us to be a sponsor but we have to recruit 50 people to attend. So we could have a rep from each state, with each state's members chipping in to pay the way for their rep. It's $395 per person, plus hotel and air fare. There are 50% off scholarships available as well. 3. CALENDAR. Our calendar is shaping up like this: 12/23: Anniversary of passage of Federal Reserve Act. National petition signature gathering and education day. 2/11: American Citizens Summit 2/23: "Repeal the Federal Reserve Act" petition+phone call+fax+email bomb 3/21: End the Fed contingents participate in Anti-War rallies which mark anniversary of Iraq invasion. Theme: "To End the War, End the Fed!" 4/01: Local ETF outreach actions. Theme: "The Joke's on U.S.--Don't be Fooled by the Fed!" 4/15: Participate in annual Tax Day activities at post offices 4/25: End the Fed Rallies for Sound Money II at every Fed bank and office. Goal: average of 5,000 people in 40 cities for 250,000 people; build a big coalition. It has also been suggested that we do a monthly action every 22nd of the month...sign waving, literature distribution and signature collection. Also, some of our activists are working on a plan to use the occasion of the premiere of the new movie "The International" to spread the word about the Fed and ETF. Thank you.
